About us
At the Ramlan Foundation, our mission is to uplift marginalized communities across India through transformative education, health, and livelihood initiatives. We are dedicated to fostering equal opportunities for the underprivileged, ensuring that every individual has the chance to thrive.
The Heart Behind the Ramlan Foundation
While working in HR at a global company, Zeeshan received a request to provide water purification kits for just two government schools in Mangalore. Moved by the need, he launched a creative fundraising campaign that quickly gained momentum, raising enough funds to support 15 schools in just one month.
This spark of purpose led him to establish the Ramlan Foundation in 2013, grounded in the belief that service should be unconditional and rooted in dignity.
Zeeshan is the grandson of the late V. Ramlan, a well-respected public servant who held key positions such as Revenue Officer, Tehsildar, and Commissioner. Known for his integrity and compassion, V. Ramlan was deeply involved in social welfare and played a vital role in providing aid and grants to underprivileged communities.
Inspired by his grandfather’s legacy and his own experiences in community service, Zeeshan founded the Ramlan Foundation to continue a tradition of meaningful, people-first impact.
